At any point, almost 80% to 85% of your hair is in this phase. This is followed by the transition phase which marks the end of hair growth as the hair enters the rest phase, when 15% to 20% of hair is shed. However, there are other factors that affect the natural hair growth cycle. Factors like stress or excessive exposure to sunlight can lead to hair loss and hamper hair growth too. So make sure you reduce the stressors - both for your mind and hair.
